The Ten Laws of Enterprise AI Prompting · 02 / 10

A vague specification is not a prompt. It is a request for the model's best guess. Only you know if the guess is right.

“Write me a payment service” compiles into something — the question is whether that something matches obligations the prompt never mentioned. The model answers the question asked, not the question meant. The gap between them is yours to close before generation, or yours to debug after.

Each law names a structural truth about AI-assisted development — independent of model choice, stable across versions. The full treatment, with working examples in C#, Java, Python, and TypeScript, is in the book. Free, no email gate.
