The Ten Laws of Enterprise AI Prompting · 08 / 10

Prompts are code. Code that is not version-controlled, reviewed, and tested will degrade.

A prompt that ships product behavior is production code wearing prose. Untracked, it forks into private variants; unreviewed, it accumulates drift; untested, it breaks silently on the next model version. The whole engineering apparatus — repos, reviews, evals — applies.

Each law names a structural truth about AI-assisted development — independent of model choice, stable across versions. The full treatment, with working examples in C#, Java, Python, and TypeScript, is in the book. Free, no email gate.
